British Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to the 13th Annual Business Awards
Dear All,
Thank you for visiting the website. The Awards celebrate the success of companies which have made significant contributions to the Singaporean business landscape. With the Awards, we aim to raise the profile of your business, your team and the significant achievements of your organisation.
At the time these Awards were instituted in 1999, some 40 people attended an event in a room at one of our members’ offices! We have moved on a long way from those days, the Awards have grown such that each year the Shangri-La ballroom is filled for a glitzy gala evening of celebration. In recent years, the categories have been re-structured and the nominations have been opened to all companies doing business in Singapore, with the Awards now supported by Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB), Spring, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) as well as our ever-supportive UKTI, British High Commission and EuroCham. From a media perspective the Awards are supported the BBC, which aired the entertaining series of video clips produced and gifted to us by Ogilvy, and now also supported by the Straits Times.
Our focus this year is to grow the Awards through driving additional ‘value’ in exposure and kudos to the sponsors, supporters, shortlisted finalists and, especially, the winners. The event itself is well established as a tremendously professional affair, so we hope to add additional frisson and excitement by having the nominees wanting more! Go ahead, nominate and we assure you it’ll be worth your while!
